Bryn Terfel is highlight of CAMEO Group’s Millennium Centre Tour

Members of Crossroads Care in the Vale’s CAMEO Group attended a backstage tour of Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff Bay on 10th June.

The tour guide spent over an hour with the group explaining the inspiration behind this landmark building, which was designed by architect, Jonathan Adams, and constructed using mostly Welsh materials, such as slate from Blaenau Ffestiniog and local steel.

The group had the opportunity to visit parts of the Centre which are usually out of bounds to the public. The highlight of the tour was seeing Bryn Terfel perform during a dress rehearsal by the Welsh National Opera.
