Crossroads Care event is full of Christmas joy

Carers and their dependent relatives enjoyed an afternoon of entertainment at the Crossroads Care in the Vale Christmas Event held at Penarth Conservative Club.

Over thirty people were entertained by singer and guitarist Heather Jones, who had also performed for the group last year. Heather sang a selection of well-known songs and carols to get the audience in the mood for Christmas. Carers and their relatives also enjoyed an excellent two-course buffet prepared by local caterer Sue Franks. The afternoon concluded with a grand raffle.

Thanks to everyone who attended the Christmas event. It was a great afternoon!

Heather is one of the many popular entertainers employed by Music in Hospitals, a charity whose mission is to improve the lives of adults and children with all kinds of illness and disability, through the joy and therapeutic benefits of professionally performed live music.
