Money Health Check Scheme offers support for Vale residents

The Vale of Glamorgan Citizen’s Advice Bureau is running a Money Health Check Scheme until 31st March 2011.

Jointly supported by the Vale of Glamorgan Council and the Wellbeing Activity Grant Scheme, CAB is aiming to help people in the Vale ensure they are in receipt of all benefits to which they are entitled. The Scheme will also provide advice for those worried about their fuel costs.

To qualify for the Money Health Check, Vale of Glamorgan residents should meet one of the following criteria:

You are aged 50 or over, you experience mental ill-health including depression and/or stress, you are experiencing fuel poverty which means you spend over 10% of your income on fuel costs

It is quick and easy to make a Money Health Check appointment with an adviser. Simply telephone or text 0784 222 1400 and an adviser will call back to arrange a telephone or face to face appointment. The Money Health Check usually takes between 15 minutes and half an hour.
