Wales Dementia Helpline provides 24 hour support to carers

The Wales Dementia Helpline offers emotional support to anyone, of any age, who is caring for someone with dementia as well as other family members or friends. The service will also help and support those who have been diagnosed with dementia.

The Dementia Helpline has a comprehensive database of services, statutory and voluntary, which may be able to help. The contacts are both local and national. They can also send out self-help and agency leaflets to you free of charge.

Calls are free and you do not need to give any personal details to obtain help or information.

How to contact the helpline:

The helpline is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, so you can ‘phone anytime, day or night. The number is 0808 141 0043. You can also text by sending the word ‘help’ and your message to 81066.
