Penarth Social Group hear about The Royal Tournament

On Monday 20th August the Penarth Social Group (made up of carers and their loved ones living with dementia) heard Bill Lee speak about his experiences in producing The Royal Tournament during the 1980s.  This included interesting anecdotes about the challenges of putting on such an event and his meetings with some of the royals.  The group enjoyed Bill’s cheerful and humorous talk.  This group meets in Stanwell Road Baptist Church on the third Monday of the month at 2pm.  It is for those who are currently caring and for their family member with dementia.  There is a facilitator and a care worker at each group.  If you would like to know more about the group contact Matt on 02920 700057 option 3.
