Crossroads Care creates Christmas cheer for Carers

Attendees at the Crossroads Care Christmas Party

Carers and their dependent relatives in the Vale of Glamorgan were invited to participate in some special festivities at the Crossroads Care in the Vale Christmas party on 12th December.

Thirty people – many wearing festive jumpers – attended the event at Penarth Conservative Club, organised by Susie Moreton, Crossroads Care’s Care Manager and Counsellor.

Attendees enjoyed top class entertainment from Rhiannon and Jenny of ‘Live Music Now’, who sang some classical pieces and an entertaining song about the twelve days of Christmas. The musicians also performed a medley of Christmas carols which encouraged some audience participation!

Caterer Sue Franks provided a festive buffet for the group, and the afternoon was rounded off by a raffle which boasted some beautiful prizes, some of which were kindly hand made and donated by Carers. The raffle raised an impressive £54 for Crossroads Care.

Crossroads Care in the Vale would like to thank all those who attended the party and made it such a successful and fun afternoon. Thanks also to Sue, Rhiannon and Jenny, the staff of Penarth Conservative Club, and all those who made or donated raffle prizes.
