Crossroads Care in the Vale organises a number of weekly social groups and activities for people with dementia throughout the Vale of Glamorgan. Trained Care Workers are in attendance at the groups to ensure all clients are well cared for. Transport is provided to and from each venue.

MONDAY
Two groups are held in Barry each Monday afternoon: The ever popular Men’s Group meets at the Tynewydd Inn between 2pm and 3.30 where members enjoy a game of skittles and a pint.

Just down the road, at the Age Concern Senior Health Shop on Holton Road, another group meets for a chat and a coffee. During the summer months the group often go on trips to Cosmeston Country Park, Barry Island and Porthkerry Park.

TUESDAY
A group meets for lunch in the rural Western Vale between 1.00 and 3.00.

THURSDAY
A group meets for lunch at the  Tynewydd Inn in Barry between 12.00am and 2.00pm.
